New Manager Checklist
  • Register players and confirm subscriptions in TeamFeePay.
  • Check coach qualifications, DBS, safeguarding and first aid are in date.

What is TeamFeePay? TeamFeePay is the club's official system for player registration and subscription payments. All players must be registered before they participate in training or matches.
  • Ensure all players are registered in TeamFeePay before they train or play
  • Confirm parents have set up their monthly payment plan
  • Use the app to communicate with parents and track outstanding balances
  • TeamFeePay replaces all previous registration and payment methods for 26/27

Every team must carry the following to all training sessions and matches.
  • Age-appropriate footballs
  • Training bibs- a full set
  • Cones
  • Medical kit- mandatory. Contact Margaret Nichols for replenishment
All team officials must hold appropriate FA qualifications to work with players safely and legally.
  • FA Introduction to Coaching Football- minimum qualification to be on the sidelines unsupported. The club will support FA Playmaker holders to upskill to this level.
  • In-date DBS
  • In-date Safeguarding Children qualification
  • In-date Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF)
FA Playmaker Coaches May support sessions but cannot be left solely in charge. A coach holding FA Introduction to Coaching Football (or old Level 1) must always be present and responsible.

Booking requests Use the booking form for pitches, the MUGA, Community Room and events. Requests are reviewed by admin before they appear as confirmed bookings.
Before you request a slot Check the club calendar first so you can avoid obvious clashes and choose the right pitch or area.
Training and matches Training and match bookings can only be requested up to 14 days ahead. Tournaments, open sessions and events can be requested further ahead.

South Beach Playing Fields

  • Pitch 4 - 11v11 LargeReserved primarily for matchdays
  • Pitch 5 - 11v11 LargePrimary training pitch for U11 and above

U11 and above must train at South Beach Playing Fields.
Failure to complete league admin within the required timeframes will result in fines.
  • Contact the opposition at least 5 days beforethe fixture to confirm venue, KO time, strip colour, and available facilities (toilets, defibrillator etc.)
  • Use the League Contact Directory on the NFL website to find opposition details
  • Away team must respond within 24 hours
  • Carry an up-to-date squad list downloaded from your FA account at clubs.thefa.com
  • A carbon-copy team sheet pad will be provided by the league - the home teamis responsible for supplying and completing it
  • Away team completes their squad list; referee completes their section
  • After the match: home team retains one copy, away team gets one copy, referee gets one copy
  • Photograph or scan the sheet and email to the address shown at the bottom, cc'ing secretary@blythtownfc.com
  • This must be done within 48 hoursof the fixture
  • Results must be updated in the Matchday app by 6pmon the same day as the fixture

Craig Tuck manages the club's referee WhatsApp group. If you don't have direct referee contacts, Craig can assist with sourcing one for home games - referees are generally keen to secure regular fixtures.
Referee fees are included within league fees. If no referee is allocated and you or a parent officiates, you may claim the fee back from the league.
Referee fees are collected from the Clubhouse after the fixture and require signatures from both the referee and the team manager.

Fees will be confirmed once the 26/27 season rates are published by the NFL & NFA.
All friendly fixtures must be sanctioned by Northumberland FA before the match takes place.
  • The fixture must be officiated by an FA-affiliated referee
  • Both teams must be correctly affiliated
  • Friendlies cannot be played until sanctioning is approved
  • Once approved, email a screenshot to secretary@blythtownfc.com
Due to pitch availability, only one home friendlycan be accommodated this season.
The club will cover 50% of pitch hire and referee feesfor external friendlies.
Club Organisation ID: 74189 Organised tournaments may request an affiliation number. Clubs no longer receive individual numbers - the NFA confirms affiliation directly to hosts.
